Angela Hall, or Mrs. Hall to her students, is a beloved long time eighth grade US History teacher at Athens Middle School. In the summer of 2018, Angela attended a conference in which she learned about the National History Day competition. That fall, she selected a few of her students to participate in the regional National History Day competition. The students did very well and some groups advanced to the state competition, where two groups were given special awards for their outstanding work. One year later, she founded the Andrew Jackson Davidson club which has been operational ever since. In addition to founding and advising these two clubs, Angela coaches the middle school cross country and cheer teams, and has organized the annual eighth grade Washington DC trip.
